Puppy First Steps is the perfect start for pups 25 weeks or younger.

In this 3-week class, you and your puppy will learn about:

• Foundation Leash Walking – Teaching your puppy to walk comfortably on a leash
• Basic Cues – Sits, Downs, Attention to Name, and lots more.
• Alone Time & Settling – Helping your puppy learn to relax and be comfortable alone or on their mat/crate.
• Creating Positive Associations – Building confidence and joy in new situations, people, and environments.

Location
Class is held in our facility, located in the heart of the mission, next to the SPCA.

Online Google Classroom
All Students receive an invitation to an online google classroom the first day of class. The classroom is populated with additional learning materials, videos, tutorials, and exercises for each class!

CANCELLATION/ MAKE-UP POLICY:
In you enroll in this class, you assume full responsibility for dates/times.
Making up missed days in different classes is unfortunately not doable. However, you will be enrolled in the google classroom that will have all materials for each class: homework, instructions, and tutorial videos so you can continue training even if you miss a day!

REFUND POLICY:
Refund for a class may be able to be met if requested 7 days before class start date.
If a class is refunded there is a 20% restocking fee.
Once a class has started, we unfortunately cannot refund; exceptions will be made on a case by case basis.

Barky, Pully, Lungy 1

This 3-week class will focus on helping you and your dog get out of stressful situations calmly and safely. You’ll learn to read your dog’s body language, develop awareness as a handler, and gain essential techniques to prevent blow-ups. We’ll teach you simple yet effective strategies to navigate walks without the chaos, helping you and your dog make better choices together.

This IN-PERSON class is perfect for starting foundational training or as a solid refresher to reinforce your dog’s progress. Our Level 1: Foundation course uses positive reinforcement to help you build essential skills, including foundational cues, leash walking, recall, and effective communication—strengthening your bond and supporting your dog’s training journey.

Training takes place at our facility, in the heart of the mission, where we are connected to the SPCA.

There is plenty of free, unrestricted parking in front of our facility.
