Everything you need to know before booking private training.
Private training is $585 for 3 sessions. Each session is a full hour with a CPDT-KA certified trainer. Your initial consultation is free and included at no extra cost.
Each private training session is 1 full hour. This gives your trainer enough time to work through exercises, coach you hands-on, and set up practice plans for between sessions.
You choose. Private sessions can be conducted in your home, at our facility at 243 Alabama St, or outdoors in your neighborhood. Many clients mix locations depending on the skills being worked on — for example, in-home for separation anxiety and outdoor for leash reactivity.
Private training can address virtually any behavior: reactivity, leash pulling, jumping, resource guarding, separation anxiety, recall, impulse control, door manners, counter surfing, and more. During your free consultation, your trainer will assess your dog and build a plan around your specific concerns.
After your free consultation, your trainer designs a curriculum specifically for your dog. Every session builds on the previous one, targeting the behaviors you've identified. The plan adapts as your dog progresses — no cookie-cutter approach.
