Adolescent Academy is designed for dogs 12 months and older. There is no upper age limit. An assessment is required to confirm program fit and set behavioral goals. If your dog is younger, check out our Puppy Kindergarten (18-26 weeks) or Puppy First Steps (under 18 weeks).
Adolescent Academy is $800 per week. Each week includes 4 full training days integrated into daycare plus 1 weekly private session with your trainer. You purchase one week at a time — no long-term commitment required. Your free assessment is included at no extra cost.
Daycare is supervised free play with larger groups. Adolescent Academy is an intensive behavioral training program integrated into the daycare environment. Your dog receives targeted training throughout the day, a behavior-specific curriculum each week, daily progress reports with video, and a weekly private session to transfer skills to you.
It depends on the behaviors being addressed. Some dogs see dramatic improvement in 1-2 weeks. Others with more complex behavioral challenges benefit from 4-6 weeks. You purchase one week at a time and can continue as long as needed. Your trainer will recommend a plan after the initial assessment.
Yes. A free behavioral assessment is required before enrollment. This evaluation helps us understand your dog’s specific challenges, set goals, and confirm this is the right program. It can be done in person or via video call.
Common behaviors addressed include leash reactivity, impulse control, poor recall, resource guarding, excessive barking, difficulty settling, poor social skills with other dogs, and general adolescent regression. Each week targets specific behaviors based on your dog’s individual needs.
